Everything Flow ships today stays free, self-hosted, and AGPL-3.0, that doesn't change here either.

Why there's a billing page at all

Some of what's coming to Flow isn't really about running one bot anymore, it's about running Flow at the scale of real infrastructure: a fleet of servers instead of one, automated backups across all of them, alerting the moment something breaks, preview environments spun up on demand. That's ongoing engineering work, not a feature you build once and walk away from, and it needs a way to fund itself that doesn't mean quietly taking anything away from everyone already using Flow for free. Premium is that: a separate, optional layer for exactly those bigger features, priced for the orgs that actually need them. If you never touch this page, nothing about your instance is any different.

The Billing page

Org owners and admins have a Billing page in the dashboard, members don't see it, same pattern as the audit log and a few other admin-only surfaces. It shows your org's current status, plainly labeled, None, Active, Past due, Paused, or Canceled, and if you're active, when it renews.

Below that is a single button that changes depending on your status: Upgrade to Premiumif you don't have an active subscription, or Manage billing if you do. Either one redirects you to a secure, hosted page (Flow uses Paddle for payments) rather than collecting card details itself.

What upgrading does, and doesn't do

Subscribing unlocks premium features for your org specifically, not your whole Flow instance globally, and it never touches anything that's already free. There's nothing to migrate, no downtime, no re-deploy, your existing projects, services, and deployments are completely unaffected either way. Canceling is the same in reverse: premium access ends at the close of your current billing period, and everything you were already running keeps running exactly as it was.

If you never subscribe

Nothing breaks, and nothing nags you to upgrade. Premium is opt-in by design, an instance that never touches billing behaves identically to one that does, minus whatever premium features exist at the time. That's deliberate: Flow's core has to keep working the same whether or not you ever look at this page.
